Unlocking Your Kingdom Purpose: The Power of Written Goals in Christian Life

Christ calls us to live successfully – with focus and goals aligned to our Kingdom purpose. Without clarity of direction, we drift through life missing God’s full potential. But He has equipped and qualified us for the race ahead through His Word and Christ’s sacrifice.

Those without written goals and vision lack direction and hope. With no defined objectives, any path will do. But for the focused Christian, God has tailored a special calling and plan to walk in.

In advising others financially, I’ve found few have written financial goals. Some avoid goal-setting due to fear of failure. But writing down goals provides motivation and fuels success.

Having no aims is like shooting at nothing – you’ll miss every time. Written goals transform dreams into defined targets. Committing goals to paper solidifies your pledge to God, family and self.

Of course, goals will evolve over time. As we grow and life changes, God adjusts our direction. But in every season, goals focused on Kingdom purposes give life meaning and impact.

Beyond a tool for success, goals are an act of stewardship. We set objectives, but God orchestrates outcomes. Goals focus our energies on bearing fruit for eternity.

Written goals provide a roadmap for living intentionally. They help maximize talents and resources for God’s glory. But remember, He measures success by obedience and faithfulness, not just goal achievement.

As you seek God’s purposes for this season, ask Him for goals to channel your efforts. Write down what He reveals – His goals for you are the only ones that truly matter. Align your objectives with His and watch Him work mightily.
